Current Scheduled Events: Warren County Farmers Fair Saturday July 26th, 2025 12:00 PM until Saturday August 2nd, 2025 10:00 PM Location: Warren County farmers Fair Map: 1350 Strykers Road Phillipsburg NJ 08865 The Warren County Farmers’ Fair returns to Harmony Township, NJ from July 26 to August 2, 2025 , celebrating several major milestones — the county’s 200th anniversary , the 25th anniversary of the Hot Air Balloon Festival , and the 87th year of the Fair itself. More than just an agricultural fair, the event offers a week of unique competitions and entertainment, including demolition derbies , a rodeo , truck and tractor pulls , fry pan throwing , and the beloved Agricultural Olympics . Attendees can enjoy local music , carnival rides , craft contests , food vendors , and classic fair fare like funnel cake and homemade pies . Hot air balloons take flight nightly at 6:30 PM, with special appearances from whimsical shapes like Fred G. Monster and a giant birthday cake balloon . Tethered rides are available for $20–$30 per person (weather permitting), and full-flight rides can be reserved in advance by calling 908-283-0721 or emailing fly@balloonfestnj.com. Special days include Veterans Day (July 27) with free admission for veterans and active-duty military, and Seniors Day (July 28) with free admission for Medicare cardholders and a Senior Expo. For families, the Kids’ Corral features crafts, contests, and a Foam Party on opening day. Live entertainment ranges from line dancing and square dancing , to performances from local bands like Harmony Garage Band , Reel to Reel , and TimeWhys . Guests can also participate in the Tuesday Talent Show or explore the Traditional Arts Expo showcasing quilting, weaving, and other fiber arts. The 2025 New Jersey State Fair®/Sussex County Farm & Horse Show will take place from August 1 through August 9 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, NJ — a summer tradition that blends local agriculture, thrilling entertainment, delicious fair food, and family fun in the heart of Northwest New Jersey. This year’s fair promises something for everyone, from exhilarating rides on the midway and nightly grandstand events to animal shows, home arts competitions, and hands-on learning exhibits. Enjoy the return of fan favorites like the demolition derby, horse shows, tractor pulls, and monster truck shows. The annual New Jersey State Fair®/Sussex County Farm & Horse Show has something for everyone, from sensory-friendly carnival rides on children’s day Tuesday 8/5 to heart racing action on the Crazy Mouse roller coaster. Learn about agriculture’s past in the Snook Museum and meet today’s farmers proudly showing their livestock and forage exhibits. From live honeybee demonstrations to learning how to make rope and finding your neighbor’s winning photo or art in the Richards Building, the fair includes traditional favorites and there’s always something new.
