Cat Name: Egon

Egon is a handsome 7 year old brown/striped Maine Coon Mix.

Egon is really sweet, but reserved in asking for attention. He will give little love nips if he gets excited when being pet, but only if you let him head butt your face at the same time. He will often wait until you approach him, but loves attention when you do. At breakfast time he will meow really loud, but will coo and head butt for attention instead of eating if you are hanging around. He is very gentle. Egon likes to be held, but only if you are sitting on the ground. He is a windowsill napper and can usually be found laying in a pool of sunshine, snuggled up with a plant. He can be somewhat shy at first, but when he feels safe he really loves to hang out and get attention.

Egon is looking for a new home with his brother Albert since his current human’s living situation is changing unexpectedly. Her new place will not be safe for them.

Egon currently lives with a calm dog, and his cat brother Albert. He has only shown curiosity with other cats. He would be fine with a calm dog, but excitable dogs would scare and intimidate him. Young children would be fine. Egon would prefer a quieter home, or one with a space for him to have quiet time.

Egon is up to date on all vaccines, tested negative to FelV/FIV. He is not declawed and is neutered.

Cat Name: Albert

Albert is a handsome 9 year old orange Maine Coon Mix.

Albert loves company and attention. If anyone comes into the house, he is the first to greet you. He can be demanding for attention, and will try to push aside any other creature who is getting attention (cat, dog, human). He wants to be king of the house. Albert is really sweet- and totally full of himself. When he is not trying to steal the spotlight, he is sleeping with his big belly up in the air for everyone to enjoy; and if you want to pet it you can for as long as you like. He is like a real life Garfield. He also has a very strong interest in shoes, so if they are not on your feet, get ready for him to check them out. Albert could do well in an active house with lots of folks to give him the attention he clearly deserves. Albert can be picked up and held for short periods of time.

Albert is looking for a new home with his brother Egon since his current human’s living situation is changing unexpectedly. Her new place will not be safe for them.

Albert would be fine with calm dogs, young children, a busy environment, but does not like other cats aside from Egon.

Albert has shown aggression towards the neighbors cats and has escaped the house to get after him. However, he gets along wonderfully with Egon, the cat he was raised with. Albert gets along fine with the calm dog he currently lives with, and has never bitten anyone.
