***JONESY AND RIPLEY MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER (NO EXCEPTIONS)***

Jonesy and Ripley (named after characters from the movies "Alien" and "Aliens") are a shy but sweet, bonded brother-sister duo who are looking for their furever home! These 4-month-old siblings are both gorgeous with their bright eyes and brown tabby markings. Long-haired Jonesy has some of the classic Maine Coon features, including impressive ear tufts, a neck ruff and a fluffy tail, and large paws. His sister Ripley is an adorable short-haired gal, with some striking spots and swirls mixed in with her brown tiger stripes.

Jonesy and Ripley came to OMC! Rescue from King William Regional Animal Shelter in Virginia, which had picked them up as strays. The siblings were both very shy when they first arrived at their foster parents' house at the end of July, but it didn't take long for Ripley to begin showing her affectionate side. She craves attention and will run right up to her foster parents when they enter the room, rubbing up against them and asking for pets with the cutest little "meow" you've ever heard! Jonesy has only recently started coming out of his shell -- following his sister's lead, we believe -- and while he's still a bit hesitant, he now accepts pets and will arch his back when you give him a gentle back rub.

Jonesy and Ripley love all kinds of toys: catnip mice, crinkly balls, jingle balls, even squeaky toys! Their absolute favorite toy, however, is a colorful, bouncy spring. They have several that they love to bat around and run after, but the blue one seems to be their top choice. The siblings are also big fans of the laser pointer, and it's very entertaining to watch them sprint around the room after the elusive red dot. Another favorite activity of theirs is wrestling with each other and chasing each other -- including up and down their 4-foot-tall scratching post! When Jonesy and Ripley aren't running around playing, they can be found curled up close to each other -- or, in Ripley's case, near her foster parents. (We're sure that Jonesy will get there, too, with patience and love from his people and further encouragement from his sister!)

Jonesy and Ripley live in a home with several other cats, as well as dogs. They've been fine with the cats, and they don't seem to mind the dogs too much, either. They've never been around children before, but they would probably be OK in a home with calm, gentle kids.

Both Jonesy and Ripley are up to date on their vaccinations and have tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and they will be neutered/spayed once they're old enough. The kittens also have wonderful manners and always use their litter box, as well as their scratching posts!

Jonesy and Ripley are located in Burke, Virginia.
