Zola is a people lover. She lights up when you’re in the room, and she’ll rub all over you in excitement. If you pick her up, she’ll let you hold her and shower her in attention all day. When she’s in the mood to sleep in our bed, she doesn’t just lie at the foot, she wants to cuddle. If you push her off you because you need to roll over, she’ll just cuddle back up with you again. She is wonderful with small kids, who are still learning the proper way to pet a kitty. She won’t hiss or swipe or run away from the baby, perhaps move just out of reach if baby starts petting too rough. She’s tolerated letting my daughter cuddle her in a hug.  She will hiss at another cat if they’re too interested in her business. If they’re in a room together and not actually interacting, all is fine.  She enjoys lounging on the human bed or on the pet bed by the window.
