Volunteer with us
Thank you for your interest in wanting to volunteer with OMC! (Only Maine
Coons Rescue); we are always in need of help. Some of the areas that we
need the most help with are, Adoption Coordinator, Fostering Cats, and
Transport Drivers. It does not matter where you are located, you can volunteer
with us!
Please click on the links below and fill out each form that you are interested
in helping with. We will do our best to get in touch with you right away,
but please keep in mind that we are all volunteers.
An Adoption
Coordinator would help any interested adopters in choosing a cat.
You would also be responsible for processing their application. Processing
an application would include some phone calls and emails with the adopter.
We will provide full training and support during your training period
and long after your first application.
A Foster
Parent would provide a safe and loving home for our Maine "Coonies".
You would be responsible for feeding, playing, changing litter and snuggling
with your foster. You would also be responsible to take the cat to your
vet (at OMC expense). We will provide you with training and lots of support.
We are currently establishing a foster reimbursement program that will
allow for food and litter for your foster
A Transporter
Coordinator would provide safe and reliable transport for our Maine
"Coonies". We are looking for drivers to pick up cats from shelters
and drive them to their new foster homes. We might also need drivers to
deliver a cat to their new adopter's home. All transports will be under
two hours.
